Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement during this time of great adjustment.  We really like the area and are getting involved in various activities.  It still feels odd going to church where we don't know everyone, but that will come in time.  We know without a doubt that we are where God wants us at this time, but sure had a hard time keeping up with Him for a while!

Matt is keeping very busy overseeing the grounds/maintenance and medical aspects of camp.  He just finished planning the renovation of 2 bathrooms, the building of 2 new cabins and the building of a deck for our place.  A work team from Pennsylvania came out to do the work.  It was a very productive week and the finished projects look great!  Matt is just doing the last of the finishing work before camp begins in a few weeks.

In May we took a trip down to Wyoming to pick up Alaura from Frontier School of the Bible.  She enjoyed her first year and the knowledge she gained from her classes.  She plans on returning next fall to pursue a degree in Christian Education.  Her summer will be spent as a counselor here at Big Sky Bible Camp.  It will be nice to have her close by for the summer.  On the way to pick her up we were able to spend time with friends in Casper who took us to see the surrounding area.  The kids were excited to climb Independence Rock and play hide and seek in the ravines and caves on the top of it.  The original plan was to go on to Mount Rushmore, but we got stuck in the storms that hit the area.  Thanks to the Dooley Family who ended up with us at their house for a few days longer than planned!  We'll try again when we take Alaura back in August.

June promises to be a very busy month.  Guest groups will continue to come up to the weekend before camp starts.  Schools here end the middle of June, so camp begins on the 22nd.  WE start with high school week then go on to the special needs camps.  After that, traditional camps continue as well as day camps and the backpacking wilderness camps.  On top of all of that, Drew has made the league's All-Star team so we will be spending many weekends travelling to tournaments.  

And then there is the garden.  We might have gotten a tad enthusiastic at the prospect of being able to grow so many different things.  The process began by the pulling up of sod and went from there.  The garden is now planted with corn, snap peas, green beans, flat beans, red potatoes, russet potatoes, gourds, sunflowers, melon, pickling cucumbers, slicing cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, watermelon, pumpkins, tomatoes and a variety of peppers.  Needless to say, our garden is almost twice the size of our mobile home!

This month marks a celebration in our house.  Before we left Alaska we found out that Karina had fulfilled the Alaska requirements to graduate so she received her high school diploma this month. She is officially graduated, but will do a few extra classes this next year, possibly through Flathead Community College.  Congratulation Karina!  

A few prayer request-

1. Big Sky is in need of a few male counselors and an AV person.  If you know of anyone who might be interested, please let us know.

2. Our support is a bit low at this point. Some of our long time financial supporters are no longer able to continue.  Matt will be running some shifts with the ambulance service in Bigfork, so that will help.  We are praying that the garden and hunting seasons will be profitable.
