Hello From Ireland!

Yes, we have arrived.  We thank you all so much for your prayers during our journey.  Our trip was extremely easy- no rushing and no difficulty negotiating the various airports.  All our luggage arrived, save for part of the bottom of one of our bags.  Nothing was lost, however.  We did manage to hold up the flight from Anchorage to Seattle.  The airline company had seated us all over the plane, so the flight attendants had to move various people so the younger children wouldn't be unsupervised.  But there were many helpful people on board, so all was well.  Molly was the only one to get motion sick, and she made it all the way until landing in Dublin.  Our jet lag is minimal, and as you can see from the pictures below we have already taken many walks.  We are very nicely situated in a lovely flat and I have soup simmering on the hob as I write.  Some of the kids are playing in the courtyard and the weather has been perfect- warmish with minimal rain.  Matt hasn't ventured out on the roads yet, but will brave the 5 miles to Athboy tomorrow to adjust to driving on the left side of the road.  Soon he will graduate to the 11 miles to Trim and we will be able to explore Trim Castle and the wool shop.  We have been enjoying the cheese, biscuits (cookies) and Matt has an abundant supply of the Irish tea he enjoys.  It has been a special day of taking the kids around and having Matt share all his memories with them.  Thank you again for all your prayers.  More tomorrow.
